Civic Trust House is located on Pope’s Quay, Cork city, just across the river from Cork Opera House and a short walk upstream. We’re set back slightly from the road near St Mary’s Church grounds, in a central, accessible location.

How to Get to Civic Trust House

By Bus

  • Mulgrave Road Stop (1 minute walk): Served by the 202 and 202a Knocknaheeny–Mahon routes.
  • St. Patrick Street / Brown Thomas Stop (7-minute walk): Served by the 214 Glanmire–Bishopstown route and most Cork city buses.

By Bike

  • TFI Bikeshare station at Camden Quay (30 seconds from our door).

  • Bike parking is available at the railings outside Civic Trust House.
    Staff also have access to a shower facility on the first floor.

By Car

  • Limited on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
    Reception sells parking discs (€2.50 each) for nearby street parking on the quayside, valid for 2 hours.

By Train

  • From Kent Station:
    • A Bikeshare stand is available at the station for a short 10-minute cycle to Civic Trust House.
    • On foot: approximately a 17-minute walk.
    • Bus options can shorten the walk; see route suggestion.
