Civic Trust House is situated on Pope’s Quay, across the river from Cork Opera House and upstream a few metres. It is set back from the roadside a little, just before St Mary’s Church grounds.

By Bus: Our nearest stop is Mulgrave Road just a minute’s walk away on the 202/202a Knocknaheeny-Mahon Route (click links to view timetables). Coming from the South-West or North East on the 214 Glanmire-Bishopstown Route the closest stop is Brown Thomas on St. Patrick Street (most other city routes also pass through St Patrick Street), a 7-minute walk from the house.

Bikeshare: There is a TFI Bikes Bikeshare station just 30 seconds walk away at Camden Quay. Click here for location Membership of the scheme costs just €10 per year to use bikes for free for half an hour at a time, for details see Bikeshare.ie

Cycling: Bicycles can be locked to the railings outside the house. For staff commuting by bike there is a shower available for use on the first floor.

By car: There is very limited parking available at the house for staff and visitors on a first come – first served basis. Reception sells parking discs at €2.50 each which will buy you 2 hours parking on the quayside.

By Train: For anyone arriving in Cork by train there is a Bikeshare stand (see above!) at Kent Station, the journey is less than 10 mins and you can park at the Bikeshare stand just outside Civic Trust House. We are 17 minutes’ walk from the station, there is no direct bus route but you can reduce walking time by using bus for some of the journey, see https://maps.app.goo.gl/68s1kuhTV8BBREoB9
